The Fictional Barista becomes Domestic Goddess

Yes, you read correctly. Wow! It has been a long time since I have been here! Sorry for the hiatus. Life just kinda caught up to me in ways I never thought it would. A brief summary of the last year and a half would have to start with financial(ish), mental, emotional and physical freedom. That's right. This Barista has moved out. ;-).
I am happy to report that there is a new gentleman in my life, who has inspired me in many different ways in my short life. I am finally going back to school, I have a new, well second, job that I adore, and he even decided he liked me enough to get a place together. Ahhh... new love. It is a beautiful thing.
Since the move, I have been all kinds of Martha Stewart. I still bake, a lot, for those who knew that was a hobby of mine. But I also cook A LOT now, too! At this very moment, I have dinner in the crock pot and meals for the rest of this week in the freezer. So, not only am I now a domestic Goddess, but I am also a Crock Pot Queen!!! I love my crock pot. For whomever does not own one, get on it! Mine is currently $30 on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Crock-Pot-38501-W-5-Quart-Smart-Pot-Cooker/dp/B00008I8NS/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1349735096&sr=8-14&keywords=crock+pot)
A few links to my new favorite recipes are as follows, and I have to thank the authors of these blogs for sharing these fantastic meals!!!

More food to come, friends. And hopefully even a few creations from yours truly.
